About Brianna

Administration Assistant - Kununurra

Meet Brianna, our Administration Assistant based in Kununurra. Bri moved to Kununurra in 2018 and recently graduated from Year 12 at East Kimberley College in 2025. Growing up in the East Kimberley, she has developed a strong connection to the community and the unique lifestyle the region offers.

Bri is currently studying online at Edith Cowan University with aspirations of becoming a secondary Health and Physical Education teacher, while also holding a strong interest in physiotherapy. Before joining the team, Bri gained valuable local experience working with several Kununurra businesses, including Kununurra Amcal Pharmacy, the Ord River Sports Club, and Kimberley Fine Diamonds.

Outside of work, Bri enjoys making the most of the Kimberley lifestyle. She loves spending time at the lake boating and biscuiting with family and friends, playing sport, and staying active at the gym. She’s also a big sports fan and enjoys watching cricket, basketball, and AFL with her family.

Bri also loves travelling and experiencing new places with her family and hopes to continue exploring more in the future.

About Ally

Occupational Therapist

Meet Ally, one of our Occupational Therapists. Ally is from Ulladulla a small coastal town in NSW and has made the big move to Broome to start her OT career. Ally chose to become an OT because she loves working with people and improving function and independence in everyday life. She also enjoys the flexibility and ability OT gives her to work in all kinds of environments in the community and see something different every day.

During her studies Ally gained placement experience in acute rehabilitation, home modifications and early childhood intervention and has worked in the NDIS space as a disability support worker for clients with complex needs.

Ally is passionate about rural and remote health and studied her final year in Coffs Harbour as part of a rural health program. As an OT her goal is to empower independence for clients in a way that is meaningful and collaborative.

Outside of work you will find her at the beach, camping, surfing or on a big road trip to somewhere new. She’s loving her time in Broome and is looking forward to dry season to explore more of the Kimberley!

About Lauren

Occupational Therapist

Meet Lauren, one of our Occupational Therapists who relocated to Broome in January 2025 and has fully embraced the laid-back Kimberley lifestyle. Originally from England, Lauren moved to Perth at the age of 14 before later spending time in Darwin, where she completed her Master of Occupational Therapy.

Lauren has a strong appreciation for remote work and the unique connections it allows her to build with individuals, families, and communities. She values meaningful, person-centred practice and enjoys working alongside people to support their goals in everyday life.

Outside of work, Lauren can usually be found enjoying everything Broome has to offer. She loves fishing, camping, boating, playing football, and spending time at the beach with family, friends, and her Border Collie, Zoe.

Lauren loves the sense of community and balance that comes with living and working in Broome and is passionate about contributing to remote and regional communities through Occupational Therapy.

About Mikayla

Speech Pathologist

Meet Mikayla, one of our friendly Speech Pathologists. She has just completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Curtin University, with final-year clinical placements at the Department for Education, Children and Young People in North-West Tasmania and at St John of God Mt Lawley. These experiences allowed her to work across a range of practice areas and client presentations, helping shape her passion for working with both children and adults.

Growing up in the Wheatbelt region of WA has strongly influenced Mikayla's commitment to improving access to services for people living in rural and remote communities. Moving to Broome gives her the chance to contribute to this while embracing the unique lifestyle and beauty that the Kimberley has to offer.

The diversity of her work experience throughout her studies, including support work for the elderly and hospitality roles (in Perth, the Whitsundays and Canada), has taught Mikayla many valuable skills that she will carry into her Speech Pathology career.

Mikayla is committed to providing holistic, person-centred and community-focused care that supports communication, participation, and overall quality of life for her clients.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, baking and travelling whenever she gets the opportunity. She is really looking forward to exploring the Kimberley region, building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact within the community!

About Elliana

Speech Pathologist

Meet Elliana, an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech Therapist who creates a safe, supportive space for all clients. She has experience across private and public settings, working with early and school-aged language difficulties, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders and supporting families with complex needs.

Elliana is passionate about delivering early intervention, family-centred approaches, evidence-based clinical decisions, and working within a collaborative team. She is trained in the Sounds-Write literacy program, the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk Early Language Program and has recently obtained a Creative Arts & Therapies Certification with the hope to integrate her creative passions within her practice.

Originally from Perth, Elliana was inspired by the unique Kimberley after completing her student placement in Broome. With a recent move, she hopes to embrace the culture of community and to explore and learn from this beautiful region!

Outside of work, Elliana can be found reading on the beach, spending time with friends, camping or exploring new places. Elliana also loves Pilates, hot yoga, and trying new creative hobbies!

About Jaye

Specialist Support Coordinator

Meet Jaye, an experienced educator and wellbeing practitioner with qualifications in Teaching and Psychology. Jaye has many years of experience in child and family wellbeing, trauma-informed practice, adolescent mental health, and the development of evidence-informed programs to overcome barriers, build support networks, and promote belonging. She has worked in various settings and communities alongside individuals, families and young people, and practises from a foundation of unconditional positive regard, honouring every individual’s worth and potential to thrive.

Known for her calm, relational approach and strong advocacy, Jaye brings warmth, professionalism, and deep commitment to supporting people in achieving their goals.

Outside of work, Jaye is an avid traveller who loves exploring new places and spending time in nature, especially in the beautiful Kimberley region. She also enjoys playing board games with her husband and 4 children.

About Megan

Support Coordinator

Meet Megan, our Support Coordinator based in Broome. Megan brings a wealth of experience across aged care, dementia, and acute health settings, having worked as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) and in health administration supporting the Head of Health in a senior capacity. Her career reflects a deep commitment to person-centred, compassionate, and informed care.

Currently studying to become a Registered Nurse, Megan continues to expand her knowledge and strengthen her ability to support others through every stage of life. Her background combines clinical experience with strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills, developed through years of working closely with nursing and allied health teams. Having seen firsthand the impact of quality care, Megan is passionate about stepping into the Support Coordination space — helping individuals navigate services, build independence, and achieve their goals.

Outside of work and study, Megan enjoys reading, walking, swimming, and trying out new recipes. She’s a proud mum of three who loves snow and water skiing, family adventures, and binge-watching a good series with her husband.

About Beth

Speech Pathologist

Meet Beth, our Speech Pathologist based in Broome. Before moving here, Beth worked in a disability clinic in Perth, supporting clients across the Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions. She has experience working with children through to adults with disability, complex communication needs, and AAC, as well as articulation and motor speech disorders. Beth is trained in PROMPT and enjoys running group therapy sessions for children, teenagers, and adults to build skills in social communication, AAC and language.

She especially enjoys working with adolescents and adults to support their communicative autonomy and explore different modes of communication. She is passionate about supporting clients in their AAC journey and follows a neuro-affirming therapy approach, recognising and valuing the diversity of language and the many ways people experience the world.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with friends and being outdoors, whether that’s walking and hiking with her dogs or relaxing at the beach. She also loves Pilates, reading, and exploring new places both in Australia and overseas.

About Biba

Occupational Therapist

Meet Biba, one of our experienced Occupational Therapist who has been based in Kununurra since 2019. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with the local community and travelled widely across the Kimberley, gaining a deep appreciation for the region and the people she supports. She is passionate about helping individuals build independence and confidence in their everyday lives.

Living and working in the East Kimberley is something Biba feels privileged to experience. She enjoys being actively involved in community events and groups, while also embracing the outdoor lifestyle the region offers.

Outside of work, Biba loves camping and spending time on the river with her family. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and keeping fit — hobbies that keep her grounded and connected to the place she proudly calls home.

About Marta

Support Coordinator

Meet Marta, originally from Portugal, who has called Australia home for almost two years. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a genuine passion for supporting people to her role as a Support Coordinator. With a background in marketing and hospitality, Marta has developed strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

She thrives on learning, exploring new opportunities, and stepping into challenges with a positive attitude, qualities that make her well-suited to guiding and supporting participants on their journey. Marta is committed to listening, problem-solving, and walking alongside people to help them achieve their goals.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Marta at the beach, camping, travelling, or exploring new places with friends.

About Amy

Physiotherapist

Meet Amy, our Physiotherapist in Kununurra. Originally from Bunbury, WA, she earned her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Notre Dame. During her studies, she completed a placement in Broome through the Majarlin Kimberley Centre, where she developed a love for the Kimberley's landscapes and community. Amy has since worked in various physiotherapy settings across remote and regional Australia, deepening her connection to the land and highlighting the need for accessible healthcare in these areas, ultimately bringing her back to the Kimberley.

Amy has experience in hospital inpatient care, private practice, and community-based physiotherapy, serving a wide range of patients from neonates at King Edward Memorial Hospital to aged care residents. She especially enjoys working with children and adolescents and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in paediatrics at Monash University.

Amy is dedicated to providing personalised therapy with a holistic, person-centred approach. She collaborates with participants and their families to set meaningful, achievable goals, focusing on enhancing both function and overall quality of life. Whether assisting children with developmental milestones or helping adults improve mobility and independence, Amy tailors her therapy to each participant's unique needs and aspirations.

Outside of work, Amy is an outdoor enthusiast — she enjoys running, hiking, surfing, diving, camping, and 4WDing.

About Craig

Physiotherapist

Meet Craig, our Physiotherapist based in Kununurra. Craig grew up in the Southwest of WA, and since graduating, he’s worked in hospitals across Australia and New Zealand, but for the past eight years, he’s called Tasmania home.

Craig enjoys all areas of physiotherapy but has a particular passion for rehabilitation and supporting the health and well-being of older adults. He has a strong interest in neurological rehabilitation, including stroke, spinal injuries, and traumatic brain injuries, and finds all aspects of rehab both rewarding and exciting. Craig values building strong rapport with his clients and working collaboratively towards goals and achievements that are meaningful to them. He has long been drawn to the Kimberley since briefly travelling through the region and has long wanted to come back to explore, learn more about the country, and contribute to improving rural and Aboriginal health. He is passionate about the connection between nature and wellbeing, and the role this plays in people’s health journeys.

Outside of work, Craig is an avid hiker, enjoys trail running, camping, and fishing. You might even spot him around town running with his wheelbarrow, training for an exciting adventure!

About Caitlin

Practice Manager - Kununurra

Meet Caitlin, our dedicated Practice Manager located in the vibrant town of Kununurra. Caitlin embarked on her journey to the East Kimberley in 2011, drawn by the region's breathtaking natural beauty and unique opportunities.

After gaining experience at several remote tourism destinations, she ultimately settled in Kununurra with her young family, where they have made a cozy home.

In her leisure time, Caitlin immerses herself in the stunning landscapes that the Kimberley is known for. She loves to explore the rich, rugged terrain through fishing trips on pristine rivers, hiking along picturesque trails, and camping under the vast, starry skies in some of the most captivating spots this remarkable region has to offer.

About Kai

Support Coordinator

Meet Kai, our Support Coordinator based in Broome. Originally from England, Kai has spent the last six years living and working in Australia, soaking up the Broome sunshine for the last three years. She brings eight years of experience working in Special Education needs schools and early childhood settings, providing one-on-one support for children with Autism across the UK, Sydney, and Melbourne.

Having recently completed her Certificate III in Community Services, Kai is passionate about stepping into the Support Coordination space to continue empowering and supporting individuals to reach their goals.

In her spare time, Kai loves heading down to the beach for a swim or to watch the sunset and makes the most of Broome weekends by camping and exploring the stunning Kimberley region.

About Emily

Occupational Therapist

Meet Emily, one of our Occupational Therapists. She completed her Bachelor's degree with Honours at Curtin University and is dedicated to providing holistic therapy to her participants. Originally from Perth, Emily previously worked within the hospital system in both the Wheatbelt and the Kimberley before transitioning to private practice and joining KTS.

Emily enjoys working across the lifespan and is passionate about delivering comprehensive and holistic care to her patients. Her commitment to providing personalised care and helping individuals engage in meaningful everyday activities aligns with KTS's mission to improve the lives of the Broome community. She is eager to expand her outreach opportunities further.

She has experience working with people of all ages and various disabilities in the Wheatbelt region, including many remote communities. Emily can assist with a wide range of needs, including sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, play skills, equipment recommendations, home assessments, and hand therapy.

Emily believes in a participant-centred approach and utilises evidence-based interventions. She values a strong multidisciplinary team dynamic and actively works to build positive relationships with community organisations to achieve the best possible outcomes for her participants.

Emily is an avid traveller and enjoys discovering new places both in our own backyard and overseas. You can also find her often spending her free time at the beach, keeping active at the gym and sharing her love for coffee with friends

About Annelise

Speech Pathologist

Meet Annelise, a dedicated and compassionate speech therapist whose journey began at Curtin University, where she graduated with honours in 2023. Her commitment to her field is evident in her academic achievements and the genuine care she demonstrates towards her clients. In May 2024, she made the decision to relocate from Perth to Broome. This move was driven by her deep admiration for the Kimberley region's stunning natural beauty and vibrant cultural tapestry, a connection she forged during a transformative 10-week clinical placement in her final year that profoundly shaped her professional aspirations.

Since graduation, Annelise has been passionately engaged in the NDIS sector, where her mission is to empower individuals across the lifespan to overcome communication barriers and enhance their quality of life. Her specialised focus includes Early Language Intervention, where she employs evidence-based strategies to nurture language development in young children; Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), helping those with complex communication needs to express themselves effectively; and Dysphagia and Mealtime Management, addressing swallowing difficulties with compassion and expertise and ensuring safe and enjoyable mealtime experiences for her clients. Annelise has a warm and compassionate approach, as she strives to create tailored interventions that foster meaningful connections and independence for those she works with.

When she’s not at work, Annelise loves to go exploring in her four-wheel drive, camping, and swimming at the beach. To stay fit, Annelise frequently works out at the gym. She also loves playing football and enjoys the fun and teamwork that comes with each game. Annelise has a beloved dog named Pickle, whose playful nature and loyalty have brought her a lot of happiness since she rescued him not long after moving to Broome. For Annelise, every day is a chance to combine her passions for helping others, exploring the world, and building strong relationships in her work and personal life.

About Belinda

Speech Pathologist

Meet Belinda, our Speech Pathologist in Kununurra. Belinda completed her Master of Speech Pathology at the University of Canberra in 2019. Prior to this she was an ESL teacher and taught at universities in Australia and schools and universities abroad, including China and Korea.

Belinda has lived in Kununurra for three years and spent two of these working as an NDIS Speech Pathologist. She enjoys connecting with local participants and their families and building strong relationships. She loves helping participants reach their goals, no matter how small or large, and feels privileged to be involved in helping families in the Kimberley this way.

Belinda has experience with both paediatrics and adults across areas such as literacy, swallowing and mealtime management, early language intervention and articulation. She has completed training in Sounds Write literacy program, UFLI foundations for literacy, Key Word Sign, Introduction to Neurodiversity Affirming Practice, PODD and LAMP.

During her free time, Belinda is kept busy with her two children and likes exploring the Kimberley, camping and bushwalking. She is a keen photographer and loves taking photos of beautiful Kimberley birds.

About Annie

Occupational Therapist

Meet Annie, our Occupational Therapist in Kununurra. Annie grew up in Australind, just outside of Bunbury and has recently graduated from Edith Cowan University, where she gained experience through her placements at Pilbara Therapy Services, supporting community disability clients in Karratha, Roebourne, and Wickham, as well as at Perth Children’s Hospital, working with a neonatal and infant caseload.

Annie has also spent a term as an Education Assistant at East Kimberley College, which was an incredible experience working within the KNX community!

When she is not working, you’ll probably find her out on the boat, searching for waterfalls, walking her puppy, or getting creative with arts and crafts. Annie loves catching up with friends and family, staying active, and exploring her new hometown!

About Rhiannon

Occupational Therapist

Meet Rhiannon, one of our Occupational Therapists. Originally from Melbourne, Rhiannon recently moved to Broome, where she is excited to bring her passion for empowering individuals and contribute to the local community. Known for her bubbly personality, creativity, and caring nature, Rhiannon believes that small steps lead to big changes and is passionate about helping people gain independence and achieve their goals.

As an Occupational Therapist, Rhiannon focuses on practical, evidence-based interventions to help individuals live their best lives, whether at home, work or in the community. She works closely with each person to understand their unique challenges and strengths, creating tailored solutions that promote long-term well-being and independence. With a diverse background in community services, schools, rehabilitation centres, and hospitals in both VIC and WA, Rhiannon has worked with people in areas such as mental health, acquired brain injury, disability support and aged care. Before becoming an OT, she spent 8 years as a Support Worker, gaining valuable experience supporting people with diverse needs.

Growing up with an older sister who has Rett Syndrome, a complex neurological disability, has profoundly shaped Rhiannon’s understanding of the challenges many people face in daily life. This personal experience deepened her empathy and reinforced her commitment to compassionate, person-centred care, where everyone deserves respect, dignity, and the support they need to succeed.

Outside of work, Rhiannon loves spending time with family and friends and is always up for adventure. Whether it’s camping, relaxing at the beach, or racing cars, she’s always finding ways to have fun.

Meet Nicole, a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist with experience across paediatrics, aged care, NDIS, mental health, and assistive technology. She is enthusiastic about helping individuals and families navigate their unique challenges and achieve personal goals.

With a warm and empathetic approach, Nicole collaborates with her clients on diverse objectives. Whether she is guiding children in navigating their sensory environments, empowering individuals to build confidence and foster a positive self-identity, or helping clients enhance their independence at home and in the wider community, she is truly committed to working together to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Nicole is an avid athlete who enjoys playing netball outside of her professional life. Her love for travel and the outdoors frequently leads her to explore the beauty of nature. After completing her studies in Broome a few years ago, she developed a deep connection to the Kimberley’s and is excited to return to the region that has truly captured her heart.

About Tessa

Senior Physiotherapist

Meet Tessa, our passionate Physiotherapist. Tessa brings experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families. Her journey began in the Kimberley, where her prac placement inspired her to take her first job in Broome. Since then, she has gained years of experience, working extensively across various areas in regional and remote settings.

Tessa spent 2 years working across the West Kimberley region, working for a newly established NDIS service and teaching Pilates locally in Broome. Following this, she had the opportunity to work in Alice Springs and the surrounding remote communities for 2 years, focusing on child development, early intervention and chronic respiratory disease education. Her approach is centered around creating family + client focused goals, providing functional support and therapy in a comfortable place for the individual, whether that be at home, school or the clinic. Her experience spans across all stages of life, gaining extra experience working in rural hospitals and aged care settings. Tessa has a keen interest in paediatric Physio, and has upskilled in paediatric and neonatal care, hypermobility in children, dynamic movement intervention and complex 24/7 positioning care. Her holistic approach and enthusiasm make her a valuable part of the our team.

In her free time she enjoys teaching Pilates, catching up over coffee and swimming at the gorgeous Broome beaches.

Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach

Meet George, one of our dedicated Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches. Growing up in Broome, George knows the community well and understands the deep importance of connection to culture. George is committed to providing a service that helps individuals with disabilities live healthy lives.

With a diverse background in community care and local government, he brings valuable insight and compassion to his work. George worked as a Senior Residential Care Worker in Broome, where he continues to support residents through a casual role. In 2023-2024, George served as a Development Officer for the Shire of Broome, contributing to local development projects and initiatives that enhance the community's youths’ wellbeing.

Driven by a passion for healthcare, George is set to begin a Bachelor of Nursing in 2025, with a commitment to expanding his clinical skills and providing exceptional care.

In his spare time, George enjoys both indoor and outdoor activities, walking his friends' dogs, and passionately convincing his mates that this is the Fremantle Dockers' year.

Meet Verity, a dedicated member of our Physiotherapy team. Graduating from Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and gained valuable experience by working in rural and remote communities during her placements. However, it was the captivating landscape and strong sense of community in Broome that stole her heart.

Verity is not only a skilled Physiotherapist but also an enthusiastic fitness advocate. Her passion lies in empowering individuals to conquer their fears of starting or returning to exercise. She is committed to offering personalised care and unwavering support to participants throughout their Physiotherapy journey.

During her free time, Verity enjoys immersing herself in nature by camping with her trusty 4WD van, named Gary. She loves hunting for snorkelling spots or whipping up big (and messy) masterpieces in the kitchen.

Meet Zoe, one of our amazing Occupational Therapists. Zoe graduated with Honours from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has a wealth of experience working in community and paediatric settings, providing therapy to individuals with a wide range of conditions and abilities.

More recently, Zoe has also spent time working in the Kimberley region, supporting people in remote communities and helping individuals of various ages achieve their personal goals and improve their participation in everyday life.

Zoe’s approach to therapy focuses on making sessions enjoyable, meaningful, and interactive while working toward each client’s goals. She is deeply passionate about helping people build their confidence and independence in daily activities.

Outside of work, Zoe loves spending time outdoors camping and fishing. She also enjoys baking and cherishes time with her two kelpies, Poppy and Fox.

About Sophie

Kununurra Manager - Specialist Support Coordinator

Meet Sophie, our bubbly Kununurra Manager and Specialist Support Coordinator who has extensive experience working in various community development spaces in Broome and Arnhem Land. She is passionate about helping her participants achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Sophie has worked as an education assistant in schools to support students with high and special needs. She also has experience providing 1:1 care in Supported Independent Living. Sophie has previously worked as an NDIS administrator for the East Arnhem Regional Council in Arnhem Land and later transitioned into a Support Coordinator role while living in the Yirrkala community in the Northern Territory.

Despite her wandering nature, Sophie keeps coming back to Broome, where she has lived on and off for the last eight years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her dog, Vinnie, who is a special breed in Broome.

About Grace

Specialist Support Coordinator and Social Worker

Meet Grace, an experienced Specialist Support Coordination and Social Worker. With years of experience in community services, Grace has gained a deep understanding of the needs of people with disabilities. She is dedicated to providing participants with the necessary support to lead fulfilling lives.

As an AASW practicing Social Worker, Grace strongly believes in using a strengths-based approach to assist others in achieving their goals. She is an excellent leader to the KTS Support Coordinator Team and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

When she's not at work, Grace is a proud mother of three young children who keep her hands and heart full. Having lived in Broome for over a decade, Grace has a profound appreciation for the local community and is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around her. In her free time, you can find her camping up the Gibb and swimming at the beach.

About Troy

Senior Physiotherapist

Meet Troy, one of our physiotherapists who adds a knowledgeable and friendly face to our therapy team. Troy has been working in the aged care, private practice and disability sectors since graduating from Curtin University in Perth. He worked in Perth before returning to his hometown, Broome. In Broome, he has completed outreach to locations such as Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Port Hedland and Noonkanbah.

Troy is a passionate physiotherapist with a keen interest in working with people with cerebral palsy, amputees and complex clients who require equipment like walkers and wheelchairs to move around. He has completed additional training to provide physiotherapy to both paediatric and adult clients with neurological impairments to achieve running-based goals as well as further learning on the rehab and long-term care of amputees. Troy always takes a client-centered approach, designing therapy interventions and exercises based on collaborative goals with those he works with.

Troy grew up and went to school in Broome, so returning here for work was an easy decision. He has extensive knowledge of remote communities and the history of the Kimberley. In his spare time, you can find Troy getting outdoors and playing football, camping and spearfishing.

About Ellouise

Senior Occupational Therapist

Meet Ellouise, one of our enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapists. Ellouise grew up and schooled in Broome. She has developed a diverse and generalist OT skill set working within the NDIS therapy space in Broome and providing outreach to Derby and communities in the East Kimberley, including Halls Creek, Balgo, Warmun and Wyndham. Ellouise values working within a collaborative team with other health professionals and community organisations as this ensures participants are empowered and well-supported to reach their goals.

Ellouise enjoys working with children and their families and provides culturally appropriate assessments and evidence-based interventions in areas including toileting, emotional regulation, sensory processing, executive functioning, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, play and social skills. Ellouise also has experience working with adolescents and adults to support independence with daily life, community participation, equipment and wheelchair prescription, home assessment and modification.

Prior to commencing OT studies, Ellouise graduated with a Masters of Exercise Physiology. She worked as an Exercise Physiologist within the disability space supporting an Adolescent Movement Program at Notre Dame, also presenting her Masters research at an international conference in France. On several occasions, Ellouise travelled to Cambodia as a student placement supervisor.

Ellouise loves the Kimberley lifestyle, spending time with her family and friends and taking her fur baby Pippa to the beach every day!

About Tiahna

Senior Occupational Therapist

Meet Tiahna, an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who values the opportunity to learn from her participants and their unique experiences. Tiahna has a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy with Honours. Tiahna has worked in the community disability sector for many years, working alongside children and adults with varying disability and mental health diagnoses. Tiahna relocated to the sunny town Broome in 2023 and has been loving every minute of it. As Tiahna grew up in a small country town in WA, she has developed a deep appreciation for the land, the people, and its sacredness.

Tiahna enjoys working with her participants to establish personalised goals and plan holistic therapy in various environments such as home, school, and community. She is passionate about forming strong relationships with her participants and empowering them to achieve their goals.

Tiahna is experienced in conducting functional capacity assessments to aid individuals with their NDIS funding. Tiahna has experience in clinical areas such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care and independent living skills, fine motor and play-based skills, assistive technology, home modifications, transitioning to adulthood and community participation.

When Tiahna is not working, you will find her living on Broome-time, at the beach, camping, or catching up with friends - having a laugh, and enjoying the view!

About Mon

Senior Occupational Therapist

Meet Mon, one of our Occupational Therapists who completed her Bachelor's degree with Honours and is all about providing holistic therapy to her participants. Mon is originally from Perth but now calls the Kimberley region her home, splitting her time between Broome and Barn Hill Station.

Mon is passionate about helping people achieve independence and getting involved in meaningful everyday activities. She has experience working with people of all ages and with a variety of disabilities across the West Kimberley region, including many remote communities. Mon can help with anything from sensory processing, emotional regulation, and self-care to fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, play skills, and assistive technology provision.

Mon is experienced in conducting functional capacity assessments to help individuals with their NDIS funding, and she has completed additional training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Circle of Security Parenting and Functional Independence Measure Assessments.

Mon believes in a client-centred approach and using evidence-based interventions. She values having a great multidisciplinary team dynamic and building positive relationships with community organisations to achieve the best possible results for her participants. In her free time, Mon loves working at Barn Hill Station, hanging out with her friends, travelling, and eating good food!

About Anna

Senior Physiotherapist

Meet Anna our dedicated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2012 and has been practising physiotherapy all over Australia and even in the snow fields in Japan! In her free time, Anna loves to explore the outdoors, surf, fish, and free dive off Gantheaume Point.

Anna takes pride in building strong relationships with her clients and supporting them in achieving their goals. Her primary focus in the NDIS sector, where she works closely with adults and children to promote their independence and help them live their best life.

Anna has completed additional training in Paediatrics including continence training in 0–18-year-olds. Anna offers 1:1 therapy and group-based therapy, including but not limited to: strength training, falls prevention, gait re-training, continence physio, and sport groups.

One of Anna’s unique qualities is her ability to incorporate her clients’ hobbies and interests into their physiotherapy sessions. You can often find her with clients in the gym, pool or even surfing at cable beach! With Anna, you can be confident that you’re in good hands, and she will help you and your family achieve the best possible outcome.

About Simon

Director/Physiotherapist

Meet Simon, one of our Executive Directors. With a big, easy smile, he’s excited to lead the KTS team in his latest adventure in his physiotherapy career. Simon comes from the Wheatbelt and South-West region of Western Australia and has always had a love for all things remote, including the Australian bush, landscapes, and the intangible qualities that make country people the best in the world. He moved to Broome in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the Kimberley and its extraordinary beauty, which he has no plans of leaving anytime soon.

With almost 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, Simon has dedicated the last few years to helping people with disabilities live active, meaningful, and joyous lives. He prides himself on his ability to get along with anyone in any situation, which he attributes to his eclectic group of friends and eccentric family.

When he’s not working, Simon spends his time with his family and friends, including being climbed on by his two daughters or enjoying the beach with his staffy and a beer in hand. He dreams of Kimberley escapes and occasionally gets to make them a reality.

About Brooke

General Manager

Meet Brooke Lowry, our dedicated General Manager. With over a decade of experience in the community service sector, Brooke brings a compassionate and empathetic approach, as well as a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by vulnerable community members. She is certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) for disabilities and families and can provide training to others.

Brooke's exceptional people management skills make her an expert in stakeholder engagement, playing a crucial role in leading KTS towards its mission to support the NDIS community in the Kimberley region. As a specialist support coordinator, Brooke is passionate about working with participants and their families to achieve their goals and make a positive difference in their lives.

Having lived in Broome for the past 18 years, Brooke has no plans to leave as the Kimberley region has stolen her heart. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and is often found at the local dance studio, supporting her children and dancing herself.
